With Crate Climbing, Jacobs Ladder and Dumfries and Galloway's famous Leap of Faith you're bound to find something at the Climbing Wall to leave a smile on your face.
Feel the thrill of outdoor climbing on our 25 foot climbing tower. We have three climbs which are great fun whatever your age or ability, and the zip wire from the top is the perfect finish to a fun session. If you've never climbed before then our Climbing Instructors will teach you the basics before letting you loose on the wall. Be warned, your exhilarating session could be the start of a new passion!
Test your nerve on Dumfries and Galloway's best zip line. Feel the adrenaline as you take your position on the platform, let our Qualified Instructors clip you in and then whizz off the top and glide to the ground.
Look, launch, leap and lower! Once you've climbed the 25 foot pole there's nothing but air and your own courage. How far can you leap? Reach out and touch the ball if you can! 3...2...1...j..ju..JUMP!
One of our most popular Climbing activities and a great test of balance, team work and nerve. The record is 32 crates...how high can you go?
This is team building and hilarity at it's finest. We host a range of activities for groups of all ages and the climbing tower is the activity of choice for many. Not to be missed is Jacob's Ladder - there's no way to the top without help and this team game is guaranteed to leave your group in fits of laughter.

Climbing activity sessions
You can enjoy this activity as one of our taster sessions. For your convenience, we run two half day sessions each day at the following times. The timings include getting kitted up with wetsuits and equipment:

Climbing and Zip activity session
During a session you can pitch your climbing skills against 3 different climbs and then whizz down our zip wire from the top. All the safety equipment is included and during your briefing you'll learn some basic climbing skills and how to safely descened.
Leap of Faith and Crates activity session
This is one of our most popular activities. You'll split your time between the two activities - on the Leap of Faith you'll climb up a vertical post to take your place on the top platform. 25 feet above the deck your task is to leap into the air and hit the suspended buoy! Crate climbing sees you building a tower of beer crates...the only catch is you're standing on them! Can you beat the Centre's record?

Clothing - Outdoors clothing, sportswear or casual clothes you don't mind getting a bit grubby
Waterproofs - If it looks like rain, it's worth packing full waterproofs (even in the summer bring some along unless it's very dry and hot, you never know!)
Footwear - anything comfortable you aren't worried about scuffing. Old trainers or walking boots are perfect
Other protection - Depending on the time of year, consider packing some of the following: suncream, sunglasses, midge spray, any allergy tablets or medication, warm hat and gloves, extra layers.
Climbing and Zip activity session
There's definitely no upper age limit and as with most of our activities there's no strict lower age limit on the climbing tower. During the coronovirus outbreak most activities are suitable for 8 years and upwards.
