Scotland's mountain biking capital! Dumfries and Galloway is the home to some of the best mountain biking trips in Scotland and at the Galloway Activity Centre we have loads of options for those wanting to explore the best that Scotland has to offer by bike.
This Mountain Biking trip runs in the morning and afternoon. A power boat trip across Loch Ken starts this exhilarating adventure. On the opposite shore our Mountain Bike Leaders will guide you around a beautiful, non-technical forest track and get you back in time for the next session.
In the Spring and Autumn we run our popular Night Rides. Travel through the heart of Scotland's only Dark Skies Park by night then whizz across Loch Ken in complete darkness back to the comfort of the centre.
Our range of Mountain Bikes are perfect for exploring the forest tracks of the Galloway Forest Park or beyond. We provide a map and can transport the bikes to the opposite side of the Loch for you to explore the area on your own.
