wobbly waterpark what's in a session?
We'll kit you up in wetsuits, buoyancy aids and helmets then take you down to the water's edge where you'll receive a safety brief from your instructor. You'll then swim out to your first obstacle and let the fun begin! Swimming ability is essential, you'll be in open water for over an hour and we ask that everyone taking part is confident in open water.
Unlike many waterparks, our inflatables are on swinging moorings (i.e. without platforms in between obstacles). This means the session involves a lot of swimming between each obstacle. The water is usually very cold and swimming from obstacle to obstacle is arduous and tiring. Particularly in high winds, you will need to be fit and strong enough to take part.
Please note that certain obstacles are weather dependent and in, or following high wind conditions some of the inflatables will not be available. We do not guarantee any of the obstacles availability on any given day and some may be taken off the water at short notice. In the event that there are not enough obstacles available for a full activity session then an alternative activity will be offered.

What To Bring
Wetsuits are provided for this activity and you will get changed at the start of your session. Make sure you bring along swimwear for underneath, footwear you don't mind getting wet* and a towel for afterwards. If you don't have swimwear with you, then an extra pair of spare underwear will be fine.
*Old trainers are fine, as long as it is something enclosed which protects the toes, soles and has a closure around the back of the foot so it can't come off.
wobbly waterpark is there an age limit?
We suggest a minimum age of 10 years old but it's more down to confidence, strength and swimming ability than age. They will also need to be capable of understanding and following the rules of the waterpark and any directions from their instructor.
Occasionally, under 10s take part and love every minute - but we've also had older children (and adults!) struggle so it's very much down to the individual. Just remember that you may be in the open water for over an hour and need to have the strength to pull yourself onto the obstacles while cold, keep up with the group and the confidence to swim in open water for that time.
For all under 16s, it would be advisable to consider whether they should be accompanied by an adult.
We unfortunately aren't able to offer refunds for anyone who leaves the activity early.

wobbly waterpark how do I take part?
The waterpark comes out in June/July/August (weather and water temperature dependent). If you'd like to have a go, then prior booking is essential as it's our most popular activity. We ask for full payment to be left at the time of booking. This payment is non-refundable.

The cost for this session is £30pp, including wetsuits and buoyancy aids.
We do not offer refunds for cancellation of pre-booked activities or in the case where a group or participant decides not to take part in the activity or leave the activity early. The waterpark involves cold water swimming in often challenging conditions. We ask that everyone taking part is a competent swimmer and able to cope with cold water swimming.
