Join us today and embark on a safe and exhilarating journey toward mastering powerboat operation.
Over 2 days you will learn all the basics for safe powerboat handling. The course requires no prior experience and our Powerboat Instructors will guide you through everything from how to launch your boat to how to recover a man overboard.
Upon completion, you will be issued with your own internationally recognised photo ID certificate. With this you can register for your international certificate of competence, allowing you to hire boats abroad.
From fast RIB's, small inflatables and fishing boats to specialist disabled access boats and tiller steered engines. We have a wide range of boats and engines to teach with, enabling us to tailor the course to your specific needs.
As well as learning how to manoevre your powerboat in close quarters, your course also includes some high speed fun! Learn how to safely travel at speed.
The Powerboat Level 2 course is largely practical, and we aim to spend as much time out on the water as possible! However we cover a range of theory topics, including coastal navigation, pilotage, passage planning, buoyage, charts, tides, anchoring and weather.
