You can enjoy this activity as one of our taster sessions. For your convenience, we run two half day sessions each day at the following times. The timings include getting kitted up with wetsuits and equipment:

kayaking and canoeing what's in a session?
All our kayaking activity sessions are designed to be a fun introduction. After a short brief we'll get you out on the water, paddling around the bay and playing some fun games.
All the equipment (including wetsuits) is included and it's suitable for absolute begginers.
We run our Wilderness Kayak trips in the Spring and Autum but can run them to order for groups.

What To Bring
Wetsuits are provided for this activity and you will get changed at the start of your session. Make sure you bring along swimwear for underneath, footwear you don't mind getting wet* and a towel for afterwards. If you don't have swimwear with you, then an extra pair of spare underwear will be fine.
*Old trainers are fine if you don't have wetshoes, however it must be something enclosed which protects the toes, soles and has a closure around the back of the foot so it can't come off.
kayaking and canoeing age limits?
There's certainly no upper age limit! We don't have a strict lower age limit for kayaking as all children are different. Generally speaking, 8 year olds and up have no problem with this session but equally we have had 4 and 5 year olds have an enjoyable time out when accompanied by a parent. Just keep in mind that we can't guarantee the weather, and things can be a bit more challenging when it's wet and windy.
